PAOC global workers, James & Christine, are passionate about equipping the next generation in Thailand and elsewhere in Asia. James serves on faculty at Thailand Pentecostal Seminary (TPS), located in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. Christine teaches conversational English courses at the seminary. Here’s an update from them on how to pray:
The Thai people of Thailand are a least reached people group with less than .02% of ethnic Thai that are Christian. For more detail on reaching the Thai, see this Mission Global resource here.
A TPS graduate replanted a church closed during Covid and others are as working in existing churches and agencies to combat human trafficking. One of our students approached us for extra tutoring in English. She was specifically needing vocabulary that would be applicable to her outreach. Her ministry is working with trafficked individuals and many trafficked in Thailand are from surrounding nations with the common language of English. This student acknowledged that the assistance she received with English tutoring along with the regular studies was making her outreach more impactful.
PRAY Thai Christians will be well-equipped to take the gospel to their nation.
PRAY for each student and graduate of Thailand Pentecostal Seminary to effectively follow God’s call on their lives to impact this generation for Christ.
PRAY for James and Christine as they continue to learn the Thai language. May God grant capacity and fluency as they seek to communicate in the students’ heart language.
