PAOC global workers, J&C, work among a least reached people group at a university in Thailand. Here is how to pray for them.
Throughout the year, J teaches at the university and we host activities for students and recent graduates. These activities feature baking classes, art club, volunteer camps, Saturday activity nights and English club. They provide opportunities for students to improve their English and develop new skills all while fostering meaningful connections within our community. In total, 140 students participated last year, many who were originally part of classes we taught.
At the end of last year, we hosted a four-week Advent series, with weekly discussions on the themes of faith, hope, love, and joy. Following that, Monday Night Church relaunched at the beginning of 2026, and we've had 15 students/alumni who aren't yet believers joining in community to study God's word each week.
For many years we have felt that our job was to plant seeds of God’s truth in student’s lives. In the recent months, we have had the opportunity to see two of our former students continue their faith journey. For one, he has accepted Christ and is a member of a local church group. For another he is actively engaged in a local church.
PRAY for continued growth of the students who attend the student church. Pray that God would demonstrate to them that He is real and wants to have a relationship with them. J&C desire for each one to understand God's heart and not just learn information.
