Karachi is Pakistan’s largest city and one of the most densely populated urban centres in the world, home to more than 20 million people. As the country’s economic hub, it attracts people from every province and over 66 language groups. Yet, beneath its energy and diversity lie deep struggles: widespread poverty, political unrest, and limited access to education and healthcare.
Karachi is also home to millions of Afghan refugees and more than 4 million orphaned children. Many live in vulnerable conditions and have little exposure to the gospel. The Christian community is small and often faces discrimination and persecution. Still, God is at work—through courageous believers, local ministries, and prayer networks seeking to see Karachi transformed by the love and power of Jesus.
PRAY for a movement of multiplying house churches across Karachi’s many ethnic groups, bringing the gospel into every neighborhood and household.
ASK God to strengthen and safeguard Christian workers and local believers as they share Christ’s love in challenging and sometimes hostile environments.
PRAY for a surge of united, continuous prayer throughout the city that fuels revival, healing, and the advance of God’s Kingdom among the least reached.
