Providing Pastoral Training to the Global Church

Providing Pastoral Training to the Global Church

PAOC global workers, Jason & Ariana, equip pastors and lay leaders for ministry, so they can use their gifts to passionately preach the gospel to their communities. Jason works as the Associate Director of The Ministry Essentials Training Program (METP). This is a 12 course non-formal ministry training program that is addressing a critical gap in leadership development in the global church. METP is now operating on every continent, in 22 countries through 40 local partners.

Jason serves full time with METP while his wife Ariana serves as a children’s pastor, seeking to instill the importance of each generation being represented in the local church (although Ariana is currently on maternity leave with her newborn and toddler). Here is how they ask us to pray for them.

We are investing in retraining all METP facilitators globally through online training videos and site visits. Jason is on his way to Asia to celebrate 5 METP graduations in 4 separate countries as well as upgrading METP leadership training for the local partnerships.

Our biggest METP partnership is in Chad. In 2024, they graduated 307 leaders spanning 19 denominations and 42 church groups. They expect to graduate another 199 in December 2025. METP has become the official ministry training program of Chad. Two-minute video update here

PRAY the Lord provides abundant workers and funding for METP expansion and for personal fundraising needs for Jason, Ariana and their growing family.

PRAY for workers to assume key strategic roles as METP continues to expand into new languages and countries, and for growth in existing contexts.

PRAY that METP will be a significant tool used globally to see God's Kingdom advanced, churches multiplied and communities flourishing as leaders become trained and confident in their calling.
