PAOC global workers, Paul & Lynn, are passionate to see next generation leaders trained to become a church planting movement in Slovakia and throughout Central Europe. Paul serves as President of Gateway College and Lynn teaches, preaches and mentors young people.
Gateway College has turned a significant corner with two new faculty who are capable both spiritually and organizationally. Together, we dream of new ways to deliver Bible School courses to this least reached area of the world. Yes, least reached, as only 1.5% of the country is evangelical. Our church has 5,000 members throughout Slovakia. We are serving into the vision of the Apostolic Church in Slovakia to double the number of churches by 2030. We hold to the verse in Isaiah 43:18,19, “See I am doing a new thing....” This fall has seen the highest enrolment yet with 15 students.
A young Hindu man from India got a job in one of the car manufacturing plants in our city. He wandered into our church out of curiosity. Fascinated by what he heard and saw he kept coming back and eventually accepted Jesus as his saviour and as his one and only God. He has grown rapidly in his new faith and now is a student in Gateway College, and attends our home Bible study every week.
PRAY for this newly forming vision for Gateway College and an increase in the number of students.
PRAY for the church plant in Budapest that has grown to well over 200. May the Lord move in that city.
PRAY for healing and renewed strength because of health challenges that Lynn and Paul have both been facing.
PRAY for Paul and Lynn as they are currently in Central Europe for a month of teaching and preaching, asking for prayer for strength, wisdom and God connections.
