Training Young Leaders for Cross-Cultural Work

Training Young Leaders for Cross-Cultural Work

PAOC global workers, Mark & Kim Steinfield, after almost 10 years of ministry in Spain, relocated to the Netherlands to join the staff and faculty at Cornerstone Bible College. Cornerstone offers one and two-year intercultural studies programs designed to equip young professionals for long-term missions. Here they share about their work.

We live in community with staff and students, where students receive training in cross-cultural ministry, Bible, and theology while gaining hands-on experience and learning from seasoned global workers.

Mark also serves as the Assistant Regional Director for the Eurasia region. In this role, he partners with Bible colleges and seminaries across the region—offering teacher training and connecting pastors and educators with various training initiatives. Kim provides member care both at Cornerstone and throughout the Eurasia region, supporting over 50 global workers and their families.

This year, Cornerstone has a first-year class of 18 students, and a second-year class of 23 students. Altogether, these students represent 18 nations, and all are preparing to serve the Lord in a cross-cultural context. We celebrate the opportunity to serve in this community and train and care for emerging global workers.

PRAY for Mark and Kim’s children as they grow up and launch out on their own, that they would discern God's leading for their lives and trust Him.

PRAY for the Eurasia region as it is going through a season of transition, including the search for a new Regional Director.

PRAY for the students studying at Cornerstone Bible College, that the Lord would direct them as they prepare and go out as global workers.
