Bringing Hope to the Romani in Portugal

Bringing Hope to the Romani in Portugal

In Grandola, Portugal, Fernando & Teresa minister among low-income Romani (Gypsy) families, many caught in cycles of poverty and hardship. Though marginalized in Portuguese society, these families are deeply devoted to their heritage and often open to spiritual conversations.

Welcomed into the community, Fernando and Teresa now walk alongside 20 families (about 100 people) through Bible studies, prayer groups, meals, and one-on-one visits. Fernando leads the Bible studies while Teresa focuses on women and children’s ministries. Already, they’ve seen youth take steps toward higher education and new opportunities.

PRAY for more Romani families to have their hearts opened to Christ.

PRAY for a fresh outpouring of God’s Spirit on Fernando, Teresa, and their ministry partners.

PRAY for the miraculous healing of an elderly family member in need of God’s touch.
