OUR MISSION

To glorify God by making disciples across cultural and linguistic boundaries by proclaiming and practicing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Latest Impact Report

There are over 3 billion people in the world with little to no access to the Gospel.

Hundreds of millions live with little or no access to the basic necessities of life - living on less than $3 a day

In our world today, the least reached and most vulnerable often overlap,
forming the sweet spot of our strategic focus.

This is where we believe that we can be the most effective together.

The 10/40 window contains the largest percentage of people who have never heard or have very limited access to the Gospel.

Our Mandate

Equipping

Caring

We care for people—helping the most vulnerable to experience the tangible love of Jesus Christ.

Our Why

The world is filled with brokenness—families torn apart by poverty, communities suffering from conflict, and entire people groups still waiting to hear about Jesus. There is injustice, sin, and spiritual blindness.

Yet, God is love. He desires relationship with all of us, so He sent Jesus on a mission of redemption.

We, as sons and daughters through Christ are invited into God’s mission to redeem all humanity and care for His creation.

As a result of his love and because of the great need, we must respond with prayer, generosity and Holy Spirit led action.

Our History

11 years before we organized as The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC), two families left Toronto for the mission field: Charles and Emma Chawner to South Africa and Arthur and Jessie Atter to China.

Workers soon followed these pioneers to Liberia (1910), Egypt and India (1911), Argentina (1913), Tanganyika (1914) and Kenya and the West Indies (1918).

The PAOC was founded as the governing body for the emerging Pentecostal movement in Canada and is a close partner with the Assemblies of God (AOG) in the United States.

In just over one hundred years, The PAOC has grown to more than 1,100 churches, with more than 235,000 Canadian attending services in more than 40 languages.

During the 60s, 70s and 80s, the missionary family grew to nearly 275 serving in 35 countries, with significant impact in Kenya, Uganda, the West Indies, Argentina, Brazil, Thailand and Hong Kong.

In this decade, Mission Global saw significant growth, resulting in our missionary family increasing to over 330 and mission giving to over $31 million.

Today, Mission Global has planted over 50,000 churches and countless house churches, while training tens of thousands of pastors, including the 12,000+ currently educated in our partner institutions.
