Accelerating Transformation Through Business Globally
GlobalWorks exist to help break the cycle of poverty by supporting and helping create Kingdom-minded, sustainable and missional businesses in the least reached and most vulnerable parts of the world.
The Incubator
B4T Incubator helps entrepreneurs launch “Business for Transformation” ventures in challenging and spiritually unreached areas, combining business development with disciple-making. They support participants through mentoring, cohort community, and the integration of a spiritual strategy with a comprehensive business plan. Ultimately, their mission is to catalyze profitable, mission-driven businesses that bring both economic and gospel impact.
BAM Canada
Business as Mission Canada is a national, cross-denominational community connecting Canadian Christians who view business as part of their missional calling — integrating faith, work, and redemptive purpose. They provide an online platform for networking, mentorship, and resources — including virtual round tables, podcasts, and bootcamps — to support people who feel isolated, under-resourced, or lacking in vision in their business work. Recognized by Business As Mission Global, they aim to help believers bring broader Kingdom impact through daily work in all industries and vocations across Canada.
Equipping Leaders Around the World For Christian Ministry
The GlobalEd Institute serves constituencies and institutions both in Canada and internationally. It serves as a vehicle for non-formal equipping in global mission work, theological education, and leadership training. The Institute organizes and delivers practical training for individuals and learning communities.
METP
The Ministry Essentials Training Program (METP) by GlobalEd Institute is a structured, non-formal Christian ministry training designed especially for ministry leaders in international contexts who have limited access to formal theological education. It offers foundational biblical and theological instruction, combined with practical ministry skills—courses cover topics like hermeneutics, sermon preparation, pastoral care, leadership, evangelism, spiritual warfare, financial stewardship, family ministry, and more. Graduates who complete all required courses receive a certificate, and the program is flexible in delivery to suit diverse environments and learner needs.
Quest
The Quest Leadership Program by GlobalEd Institute is a non-formal leadership training journey designed for international contexts, emphasizing transformational leadership through both character and competence. Participants take part in onsite conferences and online courses focused on four units: Character (self-leadership), Influence (servant leadership), Clarity (vision and strategy), and Legacy (teamwork and mentoring). The goal is to equip church leaders, marketplace leaders, and emerging leaders with biblically-informed leadership practices that produce sustainable influence, trust, and a lasting legacy.
Light for the Nations
Light for the Nations is designed to equip national churches to become effective, fruitful, missions-sending communities that reach unreached peoples through excellent cross-cultural training of mission leaders and those they send. The curriculum (still under development) includes foundational courses like The Call, Qualifications and Preparation; Culture and Communication; Leadership, Development, and Mentoring; and more specific modules such as Understanding Islam, Life in Ministry Among Muslims, and Business as Mission. Les Paulsen serves as the program director, guiding the structure and implementation of the training.
