Planting, Watering, and Seeing God Provide Increase in Bangladesh

Planting, Watering, and Seeing God Provide Increase in Bangladesh

Almost 50 years ago, a PAOC global worker preached in a remote village in Bangladesh, and a 14-year-old boy was saved. A decade later, that young man began a church planting movement that has planted thousands of churches, started over 130 schools and empowered thousands of women and men through micro-enterprise. All this is in a primarily Muslim nation where the Christian population is less than one percent. Paul says that one plants, another waters, but it is God who gives the increase.

PRAY for God to save other teens who can be used by God to plant the seed of the gospel throughout their generation in Bangladesh.

There are many poor and vulnerable people in Bangladesh. Corruption in all sectors of society adds to poverty and barriers to success and prosperity. Family violence and emotional and physical abuse of women is common.

Ask God to expose and eliminate corruption and abuse so the poor and vulnerable can begin to thrive.

A key prayer point: Pray for signs and wonders among the unreached and vulnerable to help open people’s eyes to the power of Jesus and his place in the Bible and Quran.
