Praying for the Rohingya People

Praying for the Rohingya People

It has been eight years since the genocide of the Rohingya people began. Fleeing for their lives, more than 1.8 million people now live as refugees in camps and detention centres across Bangladesh, Thailand, and Malaysia. Persecuted and displaced, the Rohingya are the largest stateless people group in the world. Many still dream of returning home safely, yet for now they live in an uncertain in-between space marked by trauma, loss, and waiting.

In the midst of this hardship, God is opening doors. Through Global Workers and ERDO’s partnerships in Bangladesh, child-friendly safe spaces and educational programs are bringing protection, structure, and healing to vulnerable children. Each week, hundreds of children find a place to play, learn, and experience care, often the only safe environment they know. These small spaces are becoming places of dignity, hope, and quiet restoration.

PRAY for hope for a generation growing up without a place to call home.

PRAY for peace and an end to ethnic violence.

PRAY that many would experience God’s love in the midst of unthinkable hardship.
