Seeing Ugandan Youth Learn to Flow in the Spirit

Seeing Ugandan Youth Learn to Flow in the Spirit

PAOC global worker, Linda Duncalfe, serves God by equipping youth in Uganda. Here is more of how to pray for Linda and her ministry.

As a team we have noticed that many young people have hearts hardened toward the gospel, and it has been so evident this past year. This comes from their upbringing, mostly in poverty, and from their life experiences. We are grateful for the spiritual and emotional healing that takes place in them. Our prayer this year has been Ezekiel 26:36 "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." We often see God doing exactly this in youth like Adam.

David grew up in Kampala, Uganda in poverty with a single mom, and although an NGO paid his school fees for a time, he couldn’t finish high school once support ended. His mother worked long hours and on some visits to his father’s home, he was physically abused. After joining a community church, he heard about Sanctus and attended our 3-week camp, where his life was profoundly changed. He was then selected for volunteer mentoring and training, gaining ministry experience and eventually serving as a camp leader. At camp he led youth to Christ, prayed for many, and became an essential part of the ministry team. His transformation is remarkable! We give God the glory. (See more about the impact of Sanctus Camp here.
