Seeing God do Amazing Things Amid Challenges

Seeing God do Amazing Things Amid Challenges

PAOC global workers, Jeremy & Teresa, have served in Ethiopia since 2003. Jeremy serves as the Africa and Middle East regional director. Both have been actively involved in training and releasing church planters, discipling young leaders, and ministering through Bible college education. Jeremy also serves as a member of the leadership team at Addis Christian Life Assembly in Addis Ababa. Here is a report from Jeremy & Teresa.

From our local church, we were able to send out 88 church planters and see 220 churches planted with over 2,600 people coming to faith in Christ. All of this was through local funds, and people being raised up, trained and sent out.

There was a young lady who was struggling with a child with disabilities. One of our brothers went out to meet her and share the hope of Christ with her. She experienced the overwhelming presence of Jesus and his compassion for her. She gave her life to Christ and now with tears tells of how God used her son's disabilities to show her Jesus. Another woman close by had organ failure - death was expected. Our church planter went and prayed for her, and she was completely healed. As a result of that healing 11 people in the community gave their lives to Christ and a church of 12 people was started.

PRAY for strength and wisdom - God's guidance and wisdom as we work with new disciples, young leaders and national partners.

PRAY for protection and health - several are facing challenges and regional conflicts continue. We are asking for God's grace and power in the nation.

PRAY for fruit that lasts and healthy partnerships to expand the work throughout the region.
