PAOC global worker, Kathy Mizen, has a vision to see God transform more lives through our Schools of Hope program in the public schools and communities in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Here are her report and prayer needs.
Our ministry has grown, and with it, our responsibilities and team.
- We installed 130 water filters, reaching an 8-year goal of over 1,300 homes receiving safe, clean water.
- Over 400 ChildCARE Plus (CCP) sponsor kids received support through education, nutrition and spiritual growth.
- Bible classes were taught weekly in five public schools, reaching more than 1,400 children and teachers with the gospel.
- Discipleship classes were taught to over 125 children (Gr. 6-12) and children accepted Christ and grew in leadership skills.
- Tutoring classes supported more than 150 children with academic support and reinforcing concepts. Helping them advance and build confidence.
