PAOC global workers, M. & S., serve in Southeast Asia by focusing on ministry to children, youth and their families. M. & S. share what has been happening, and how to pray for them.
This past year, we have seen an increase in our English classes with over 80 children and junior youth coming out. Out of this, a junior youth group has started as well as get-togethers with youth in the community.
Our English classes have grown through a girl named Anya. After she and her mother first visited, Anya began attending regularly and soon brought friends. Within weeks, she had invited 15 children from her community, who now bike 30–45 minutes to attend English class, junior youth group, and children’s church. They are eager to learn, feel accepted, and hear about Christ, and we are exploring ways to engage their community further.
PRAY M. & S. continue to find inroads into their village ministry, reaching children, youth, and adults in meaningful ways.
PRAY M. & S. would be able to acquire the level of language fluency needed to work with the people in their country effectively.
PRAY for wisdom as M. & S. look at long term goals and strategies within their work to move beyond established works. Their heart is for those who have never heard the gospel.
