PAOC Global Workers, Guy & Jane, serve in Senegal at a deaf school as well as with other ministries. Here is their report on one such ministry.
We rejoice to see the Deaf Ministry flourishing outside the school and dorm context by former students and staff. The same can be said of the ministries to street children carried on by some youth who were once on the streets themselves but now are mature adults passionate to serve and minister. Most of these young leaders came through the CCP program which speaks to the importance of care that provides direct, personal impact into the lives of children.
We are so thankful to see so many Child Care Plus graduates come through the program and now engaging in ministry as teachers, pastors, CM workers, etc. The fruitfulness coming from these young lives through your generosity is an amazing blessing.
PRAY these young adult leaders will thrive in their ministry to those in situations they have come through, imparting Jesus’ love and the wisdom they have learned.
PRAY current deaf ministry and street children will be open to being mentored by these role models
