Across Pakistan, more than three million Mochi people belong to a community traditionally known for shoemaking and leatherwork. Many live in Punjab and Sindh, where family relationships and community ties remain deeply valued. As manufactured goods replace traditional crafts, many families face uncertain incomes, limited educational opportunities, and social discrimination.
The Mochi primarily follow Islam, and many have little access to biblical teaching or Christian discipleship. They need opportunities to encounter the gospel through Scripture in familiar languages and through believers who demonstrate Christ’s love with humility and respect.
PRAY that Mochi families will hear and understand the good news of Jesus, experience His grace, and discover the hope and forgiveness found in Him.
ASK God to raise up believers who will build trusting friendships, share Scripture wisely, and patiently disciple new followers of Jesus. Pray for courage, protection, and growing communities of faith.
PRAY for access to education, healthcare, vocational training, and sustainable employment. Ask God to strengthen parents, protect children, and bring dignity and practical support to those facing hardship.
