The Kashmiri people live in the breathtaking Himalayan region of Kashmir, where generations have endured political tension, conflict, and uncertainty. Most families rely on farming, craftsmanship, or fishing for their livelihood, yet daily life is shaped by instability and hardship. Despite a population of more than 7.2 million, there are virtually no known Christians among the Kashmiri, making them one of the world's least-reached people groups.
Mission Global partners are serving in this challenging region, building relationships, seeking opportunities to share the hope of Christ, and praying for a movement of the Gospel among the Kashmiri. They ask us to pray for open doors, courageous workers, and for people of peace who will welcome the message of Jesus. They also long to see local believers raised up who will one day become pastors, teachers, and missionaries to their own people.
