Iranian refugees in Türkiye are especially at risk. They are constantly looking for a durable solution to their situation. They cannot return to Iran. They live in a country that does not want them and have no opportunities to move to safe countries. Health care is very expensive, so many cannot afford medical help. Some make desperate decisions, attempting to reach safe countries through dangerous sea crossings or illegal land crossings.
