PAOC global worker, M.B., shares her spiritual journey of trust and obedience as she serves God in Asia.
God invited me to once again trust Him, opening a door for significant leadership this school year. I am in a beautiful (and equally terrifying) place where I am stepping in far over my head, leaning fully on God. I see myself in the story of Joseph, God granting increasing leadership and blessing others through Joseph.
Our elementary Christian club is one of the most popular clubs in the school, and young students from non-believing families are seeking, asking powerful questions and making decisions to follow Christ. Our church plant continues to grow and expand. We are expanding by developing a ministry geared at university students and are praying for inroads and open doors to start a church plant in a local university.
My life group has grown deeper and four of our members took a greater step of commitment by attending a church weekend focused on spiritual freedom. I look forward to continuing to journey with my members and watching them step into ministry leadership positions themselves.
PRAY for revival in the school as M.B. has opportunities to share the love of Christ with families from Japan, Korea, Mainland China and around Southeast Asia.
PRAY for the teachers and leaders as they go through some significant leadership changes, that they would be equipped by the Spirit to share God's truth strategically and powerfully in our closed context.
PRAY for continued spiritual growth in the working adults that M.B. is discipling.
