Fifty days after Jesus’ resurrection, the Holy Spirit was poured out. Jesus explained the purpose:
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
This is why the global Church celebrates Pentecost at the same time as the Day of the Unreached. The power of the Holy Spirit is meant to help disciples make disciples. This year, the Pentecost/Day of the Unreached is celebrated on Sunday, May 24th.
Each of us can pray. God deeply loves those who have not yet heard that there is hope in Jesus. Together, let’s close the gap for the third of the population that remains unreached and needs to hear this message we cherish. View our Mission Global video here.
PRAY that we as a Canadian fellowship will embrace the empowerment of Holy Spirit to bring the gospel to the least-reached and most vulnerable locally and globally.
PRAY that individuals, families and churches will pray earnestly to see the gospel go to ALL nations and people groups in those nations.
PRAY each of our global workers will know the empowerment of Holy Spirit in their lives and ministries.
