Bringing Light to the Tribal Communities of Northern Thailand

Bringing Light to the Tribal Communities of Northern Thailand

PAOC global workers, Yves & Francoise, serve in northern Thailand among the Hmong, Karen, and Lahu tribal communities. Yves has independently written about God’s call and provision on their lives, commencing their overseas journey as global workers after retiring from public service in Quebec. If you read French, it's a fascinating read. (See here for details.) Here are a couple of ways to pray for Yves & Francoise.

“In the past year, we had to balance an emergency family situation in Canada as well as new ministry opportunities and challenges. By God’s grace, our family member is well again, and our projects have been successfully completed.

One of our strong young leaders in the Mae Win Church had suffered greatly with a lung infection. A visiting team prayed for healing and the young man was healed miraculously. In response, his mother accepted the Lord into her life! The young man has a call of God on his life and would like to go to Bible school. We are hoping to be able to support him and three others to be trained for ministry.

PRAY for wisdom in choosing candidates who will stay the course, and for the Lord’s empowerment on their lives for ministry.

PRAY that our good health will continue, and that our family back home in Quebec will also be healthy, as they lean on us in times of crisis.

PRAY for the Hmong, Karen and Lahu tribal communities to come to know Jesus in greater numbers. Our small church is working hard to serve our community and share Jesus. May the Lord add his blessing!
