Jesse & Maya B are newly approved PAOC global worker candidates. Here's their story and how you can pray.
Jesse and Maya Brown both completed Bachelor of Arts in Religion at Master’s College and Seminary in April 2026. Maya also holds certificates in Children and Adolescents’ Mental Health and TESOL, while Jesse has complimentary training in business and accounting. Their program has been largely online, allowing them to combine studies with practical ministry and cross‑cultural experience.
While serving on a short-term placement in Ethiopia, they sensed a clear call from God to Japan. With Maya’s Japanese heritage combined with exploration trips to Japan, she saw the fruit of ministry there through her grandfather who worked with One Mission Society (OMS). Maya has basic Japanese language proficiency while Jesse is embracing the opportunity to learn the language and culture.
PRAY Jesse will pick up the language quickly, and they both would adapt to the immersion in the Japanese culture.
