PAOC global worker, Emma, has a vision to see Puerto Rico’s young people discipled, empowered as leaders, and sent to make disciples of all nations.
Emma will be partnering with Youth for Christ Puerto Rico (YFCPR) as they reach the young people of this island. YFCPR staff and volunteers see the hope and potential in every young person they meet, and they reach them through community specific programs. During the events in schools and the community they develop relationships with young people and share the gospel. Motivated by her faith, Emma believes that transformed youth can transform communities, their country, and the world.
PRAY for the visa process to get to Puerto Rico, that Emma’s next steps would be clear and the process would be smooth.
PRAY into the student leadership program, that God would equip students to be leaders, that they would grow as disciples, and that they would be bold to use their giftings for God's glory.
PRAY that staff at the after-school centre would have a sense of God's direction with that space, and that students would feel welcome in this space.
