PAOC global workers, Otoniel & Liz Perez, have a vision to help train and send cross-cultural workers from Latin America, especially Cuba, to restricted access nations. Oto shares how this is taking shape, and how we can join him in prayer.
I am grateful to see the Latino missionary alumni advancing with God’s mission after completing the INCUBATOR program, which saw ventures focused on businesses to the Middle East, North Africa, the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia.
Let me tell you about Jose, a devoted Jesus follower, church member, high school teacher for troubled teens, and small coffee business owner in Costa Rica who supports national missionaries through his work.
When he joined the INCUBATOR, he was passionate but struggled to understand and scale his business. Through the program, he learned to focus on client needs, network effectively, and invest in growth. He also applied these principles with his 30 students, and five have since come to faith and are being discipled by him.
Just five months later, Jose expanded significantly and is now exporting high‑quality Costa Rican coffee to Japan. Jose shows how B4T creates sustainable opportunities for Latinos to connect to less‑engaged areas of the world with God’s love and truth.
PRAY for wisdom and skill in the design and launch of La INCUBADORA B4T, a Spanish B4T training program that will serve the Latino Church to mobilize their workers into least reached regions of the world.
PRAY for provision of the human resources and finances needed to build national teams, produce the tools and elements of the new program, its promotion and implementation
PRAY for favour and direction to engage with national leaders in the collaborative work as well to the Lord of the Harvest to move hearts through this missional path of Business for Transformation.
