The Pentecostal Commission for Religious Liberty is calling on the Church worldwide to pray for seven Christians leaders and many others imprisoned in Eritrea, and our Mission Global Executive Director, Murray Cornelius, is asking us to lean in. These seven men are pastors, doctors, and servants of Christ whose families have lived for years with silence and uncertainty.
Our global workers and partners have served the people of Eritrea with the hope of Christ.
PRAY for open doors and freedom for those in captivity.
PRAY the families of prisoners would receive discreet, practical help and that those offering such assistance remain invisible to the authorities.
PRAY the church in Eritrea would know Christ’s nearness and remain rooted in the gospel even under pressure.
PRAY for healing for those experiencing nightmares, anxiety, grief, exhaustion and other symptoms of trauma and for miraculous access to wise care and support.
PRAY for a miraculous change in the hearts, minds and orientation of government leaders, local officials, and members of security services.
PRAISE God for the launch of the first Eritrean church in Surrey, BC on May 24th!
