The Palestinian Arab people live amid immense hardship shaped by conflict, displacement, and uncertainty. Many families in Gaza and the West Bank face food shortages, restricted movement, damaged infrastructure, and ongoing instability. Yet even in suffering, Palestinians are known for deep hospitality, rich culture, and resilience.
Among a population of over 4.7 million, the vast majority are Muslim, while only a small percentage identify as Christian. The need for the hope of the gospel remains great. There are churches among Palestinians in Israel and the West Bank, while only a few are publicly known in Gaza. Believers there often serve under intense pressure and need encouragement, strength, and boldness.
There are also reports of Palestinian Muslims encountering Jesus in dreams and beginning to seek how to follow Him. God is at work, even in places marked by pain and turmoil. Let the global church remember these precious people in prayer, asking the Prince of Peace to reveal Himself and bring mercy, healing, and transformation.
One day, Palestinians too will stand before the throne with believers from every tribe, tongue, and nation, worshipping the Lamb together.
