Jeremy and his wife, Teresa, have served in Ethiopia since 2003, where they are raising their three children—13, 13, and 12). Jeremy’s ministry is defined by a deep commitment to reaching those with little or no access to the gospel through church planting, discipleship, and theological education, raising young men and women to serve the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.
He currently serves as the Mission Global Regional Director for Africa and the Middle East, working closely with global workers, international partners, and ministries across the region, providing strategic guidance, pastoral care and strong leadership. In addition, he collaborates with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Africa, a network of sixteen fellowships advancing the Kingdom of God through church planting, by raising a new generation of leaders and engaging in meaningful community development.
Jeremy has played a key role in developing ministries that reach Islamic communities in Ethiopia, the Horn of Africa, North Africa, and the Middle East. In partnership with the Ethiopian church, he has been instrumental in mobilizing thousands of indigenous leaders each year to carry the gospel throughout the region. This has contributed to a dynamic Church Planting Movement that has reached millions with the message of Jesus.
Together, Jeremy and Teresa serve on the pastoral team at Addis Christian Life Assembly, where they mentor and equip young leaders to serve their communities and nation.
Over the past 23 years, Jeremy has developed relationships across Canada, providing the Canadian church with opportunity to engage in advancing God’s Kingdom. And for the past 10 years he has served on the General Executive of the PAOC.
He brings a unique blend of theological training (DTh, MTh, B.Th.) and professional expertise (MBA) to his role. His ministry is driven by a passion for God’s mission—seeing the gospel reach the least-reached, bringing hope to rapidly growing urban centers, and caring for the most vulnerable. He is deeply committed to developing leaders, investing in discipleship, and training the next generation of missionaries and Christian workers.
PRAY for unity among our members, that we would reveal Jesus to the world.
“I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me” (John 17:23).
PRAY for the least reached peoples.
“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb…” (Revelation 7:9).
PRAY for the most vulnerable—the orphaned, the poor, the suffering, and those affected by war, famine, and drought.
“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world” (James 1:27).
