PAOC Global Workers, Darren & Patty, share how the Lord provided to fulfill a word he had given them six years ago. The promise in Isaiah 41:13 has held them this past year through several unexpected turns and challenges, “For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” Here is their report.
We are delighted to have hosted several short-term teams this year, both for evangelism in schools and construction. We have also been able to complete several small projects (church expansions, housing), distribute Bibles, spoil the boys at the Refuge and host conferences. Life has been busy and full.
Through a series of God moments, funding was provided to complete the Refuge Boy's Home expansion. Furnishings and licensing with social service are underway but Project Refuge is complete. HE has made a way! Now we are focusing on the Father's House Church and Christian School, a HUGE project that God has entrusted us with.
PRAY children from the community will find a place to belong at Project Refuge.
PRAY for the Father's House. Presently we are working on the gymnasium that will serve both the church and school.
PRAY for our own boys and our empty nest. James is in the last phase of aviation studies. Darien has started his studies at the University of Waterloo.
