The business of the upcoming PAOC General Conference will be held as follows:
- A Special Meeting of the General Conference has been called for April 15 and will be held online to deal with 11 proposed resolutions
- May 5 and 6 during our General Conference in Halifax (in-person and online) and will include reporting, resolutions, voting and elections.
Two important elections
- The Office of the General Secretary Treasurer of the PAOC. Craig Burton was elected into this role for a four-year term at the PAOC General Conference in Winnipeg, 2022.
- The Executive Director for Mission Global. Rev. Murray Cornelius has announced his retirement from this position he has held since 2006.
PRAY for the mind of Christ as we prepare and as we gather. May we listen to Him.
PRAY Holy Spirit will guide in elections, discussion of resolutions and processing of reports. May He have pre-eminence.
PRAY that our PAOC Fellowship of over 3,700 credential holders representing 1,200+ disciple-making communities across Canada will be strengthened as we gather remotely and in-person. May we enjoy true koinonia both in our business sessions and in the plenary times together.
PRAY for the theme of sending our sons and daughters to catch with our pastors and leaders. We have felt this is a Holy Spirit invitation, and not just a nice title for our conference. May God spark this into reality.
