English Teachers
An opportunity exists in Kazakhstan to teach English in a rehabilitation centre, supporting students as they build fluency, confidence, and hope through language learning. Teachers provide engaging, personalized lessons while fostering a supportive environment that encourages growth and cultural understanding. Strong English proficiency, clear communication, and relational skills are key, with ESL experience helpful but not required. This role integrates education, encouragement, and meaningful cross-cultural connection.
Purpose
An opportunity exists at a rehabilitation centre setting in Kazakhstan for people interested in helping students improve their English skills. A good teacher provides personalized and engaging topics that help a language learner achieve fluency and confidence in English. Their interaction with students also helps them enrich their cultural understanding as well as access English language ministry resources. Teachers create a supportive and motivating learning environment that fosters both linguistic competence and a lifelong appreciation for the English language.
Skills
Proficiency in English language and grammar is essential, along with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner. Experience and/or education in teaching English as a second language (ESL) is helpful but not required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for building rapport with students and understanding their unique needs and learning styles. Cultural sensitivity and awareness are important for navigating the diverse backgrounds of European students.
Support
Our International Missions team will walk with you along the way – from application to deployment. Training, administrative support and mission coaching will be provided, along with assistance for promotional and fundraising efforts.
