Purpose 

We are looking for someone willing to serve as a Global Volunteer (GV) doing spiritual outreach, urban community development, and compassionate service in this security-sensitive country in South Asia. The goal is to share the teachings of Jesus Christ, provide support to those in need, and foster a sense of hope and unity within diverse communities. By embodying the principles and example of Christ’s love, kindness, and humility, the GV will aim to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and communities, promoting spiritual growth and holistic well-being. 

Skills 

A broad set of skills is needed to navigate the country's rich cultural and religious diversity effectively. Cultural sensitivity and an open-minded approach are essential for building respectful and meaningful relationships. Effective communication skills, both in sharing the gospel and in listening to the needs and stories of others, are crucial. Organizational abilities help manage various ministry activities and coordinate with local churches and community groups. Patience, empathy, and resilience are necessary to handle the challenges of working in different environments and to offer genuine support to those who are being served. Additionally, a deep understanding of Christian teachings and a sincere commitment to Jesus is essential to guide actions and inspire others in their spiritual journeys.
