Have you ever worked with troubled kids? Walked into the enemy's camp and worked to take back what he was trying to steal?
When you work with children, the spiritual battle is intense and the rewards astonishing. It is a LOT of little things: stuff breaking and being broken, staff turnover, Social Services being challenging with licenses, paperwork etc. Just a lot of stuff that says that the enemy is fighting back, trying to discourage us and our partners, trying to get us to throw in the towel, even as we see so much progress.
Would you pray, do spiritual warfare on our behalf?
PRAY for God’s protection over the children and youth themselves, in Darren & Patty’s ministry, and among all our global workers.
PRAY for breakthrough moments of spiritual transformation in the lives of the children and youth that make all the ‘little stuff’ so worthwhile.
PRAY also for our global worker children, Third Culture Kids, entering the Canadian summer season. Many will travel with parents on church and donor visits; others prepare for transitions in the fall. May God put a hedge of Holy Spirit protection around each one.
