PAOC global workers, Rainer & Liz Mittelstaedt, founded and now co-lead the Ministry Essentials Training Program (METP) with Jason & Ariana Cornelius. In 2025, 1,718 were enrolled in 21 active METP centres reaching hundreds of communities, with many more about to launch.
One pastor's wife, a METP student in Uganda, was asked to preach a sermon on national television. Having just completed the course on Communicating God’s Word, she was able to prepare systematically, leading to a successful sermon delivery for the benefit of many television viewers.
In Chad, as the course on Ministering in Power was being taught, several students testified to experiencing healing miracles.
In one South Asian country, Rainer had the opportunity to teach a group of leaders who are planting house churches. Because of restrictions, they are conducting church services more discreetly yet their growth in knowledge of Scripture is so encouraging.
