Every week VOH Malawi has a chapel service attended by 500 children. This is a wonderful time for the children to sing, dance, recite scripture, and hear the Word of God together. Many churches in this community are not child-friendly so creating a space for them to have this meaningful worship experience has been amazing.
VOH Malawi is now impacting students beyond secondary school. VOH graduates can apply as an intern and work at the centre for 1-3 years. During this time, they receive a salary, earn a scholarship, and gain valuable skills they can use in their future careers. As a result, we have graduates achieve significant goals. For instance, Gift and Ella have graduated from teachers’ college and are employed at teachers. Patson attended trade school and became and electrician. Mercy is studying to be a nurse and is currently serving an internship at a state hospital.
PRAY for Malawi, one of the world's poorest countries, that God would bring the changes that will lead to a brighter future.
PRAY for the God’s protection to surround the Walton family as they live and serve in Malawi.
PRAY for the effective implementation of VOHM discipleship program, that a deeper walk with Jesus might be found by VOHM staff and children.
PRAY for wisdom for Jef and Renatta as they continue to lead this growing organization.
