From August 8-15, Third Culture Kids (TCKs), or traditionally known as missionary kids (MKs) from across Canada and around the world will gather in Calgary for Classic ReBoot, an eight-day transition retreat for 17–20-year-olds returning to Canada after growing up cross-culturally. Led by adult TCKs, the retreat provides a safe place to process grief and transition, celebrate the unique experiences of life overseas, build lasting friendships, and gain confidence for life in Canada.
Through teaching, worship, outdoor activities, and honest conversations, participants are equipped to thrive in this significant season of change. Many arrive uncertain about what to expect but leave deeply encouraged, strengthened in their faith, and connected to a community that truly understands their journey.
This year, three Mission Global TCKs will attend Classic ReBoot. Through the TCK Care Fund, Mission Global helps remove financial barriers so every TCK has the opportunity to participate in this life-changing event.
