As another school year closes, R. is thanking God for His faithfulness. While saying goodbye to students she has mentored over the past three years was bittersweet, she rejoices in the opportunity to continue investing in lives through education.
This fall, R. will expand her ESL ministry by teaching national teacher assistants while continuing to equip school managers. She is also preparing to welcome new students from closed countries across Asia, praying that many will encounter Christ as they learn English.
Beyond the classroom, R. has begun serving through a local church, teaching ESL to young adults. She is encouraged by the growing spiritual hunger she sees as students ask questions about God's Word, and she is praying that these relationships will lead many to faith in Jesus.
This summer, R. is travelling to several closed countries to encourage believers, serve alongside local ministries, speak at a women's retreat, help with a children's camp, and seek God's direction for future ministry opportunities. By what she can share through security limits, God's light is shining brightly as people continue to respond to Him with remarkable courage.
PRAY for wisdom, protection, and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit as R travels and serves in several closed countries this summer.
PRAY for open hearts among ESL students, teacher assistants, and new arrivals from closed nations as relationships create opportunities to share the hope of Jesus.
PRAY for strength and encouragement for believers across Asia as they faithfully follow Christ in challenging circumstances.
