I have a background in Applied Linguistics and originally went to Japan to teach English with the JET (Japan Exchange and Teaching) Programme. I have spent approximately 22 of the past 26½ years living and serving in Japan in a variety of ministry roles. When my previous missions organization dissolved, PAOC emerged as the right fit to provide the support needed to continue this ministry in Japan.
Growing up in Canada, I was deeply involved in camp ministry and served in local churches through youth and children’s programs, as well as on church praise teams in several communities. At the age of 15, I learned that many people in Japan had never heard the Gospel, and that realization profoundly shaped the direction of my life—ultimately leading me here.
