After 25 years of pastoring, I (Gary) pursued a MTh to be able to teach and equip the next generation for ministry. Being asked to consider teaching overseas opened the door for us to pray about overseas missions. As I (Gary) had traveled to Cambodia previously on a mission trip, we pursued ministry there. From 2007 to 2011, we served as the first PAOC global workers in this Buddhist nation. At that time I (Gary) taught at Cambodia Bible Institute and I (Bev) oversaw ChildCarePlus, worked with girls rescued from the sex trade, and was involved in occasional medical missions to small villages. In January 2014, we returned to Cambodia where we served for 4 years with various ministries and organizations. We have also been active in short term mission endeavours that have taken us to Africa, Cuba, & the Philippines.
Since moving back to Canada in 2018, we have continued to serve as Global Volunteers, traveling to Cambodia each year to engage in teaching and medical missions.
