Harlyn & Helene Purdy

I (Harlyn) served in pastoral ministry and District leadership for over 30 years. In 1989 I became pastor of West Pembroke Assembly, Bermuda, and in 1993 I began to engage in short and mid-term missions. I served on short term missions in Cuba, Somalia, South Sudan, Northern Uganda, and Malawi through teaching, conducting crusades, preaching, and relief and development. It was during a short-term mission to Malawi (2006) that the call to serve full time became clear. After being widowed I met and married Helene (also widowed) who immediately joined me as full time missionaries in Malawi. Together we serve in Malawi to bring the gospel with its message of hope, healing, and deliverance to a people who desperately need it.
