Ministry History

I (Jim) am a graduate of Royal Roads Military College and retired in 2014 after a 40-year career with the Department of National Defence. I serve on the boards of SALTS (Sail and Life Training Society, a youth ministry) and Focus on the Family Canada, volunteer at Nanoose Bay Youth Camp, and am an Overseer with the OMEGA program of Summit Pacific College.

I (Denise) graduated from Western Pentecostal Bible College (now Summit Pacific) and retired as school secretary in 2015. I have been a missionary to Zambia, also volunteer at Nanoose Bay, and am on our church missions committee. Together we realize that the need is great and the time is short and are therefore determined to make our retirement count. Each year, we split our time, ministries and passions between Canada and Southeast Asia.
