Portrait of an elderly couple standing outdoors with tropical foliage in the background. The man on the left wears glasses and a red checked shirt, and the woman on the right has shoulder-length brown hair and is dressed in a dark floral blouse. Both are smiling slightly and looking directly at the camera, with a rustic, colourful wall partially visible behind them.

Haiti

Our vision is to witness more young people and children come to Christ while also providing them access to education, to give them hope for a brighter future. You will help bring the gospel to more young people and children in Haiti, to see the power of the Spirit’s presence at work within this nation that desperately needs God.

Ministry Focus

Haiti has an average income of US $4.75 per day. According to the UN, nearly half the population battle with extreme poverty and many families struggle to feed themselves.

In response to these sobering needs, we focus especially on ministering to the youth and children of Haiti. As the pastors of our Pentecostal church, in the capital city of Port-au-Prince, we organize and run a Sunday school with an average attendance of 700-800. I (Michel) am also the principal of our ChildCARE Plus school that teaches over 700 students from kindergarten to Grade 13. Our school seeks to work with the neediest families of our community.

After more than 20 years of operating this school, we have witnessed hundreds of graduates go onto to obtain higher education. We have also seen many of these students and their families come to faith in Jesus.

She has a broad smile and is looking towards the camera. Behind them, other graduates in white caps and gowns are partially visible, adding to the celebratory atmosphere of the scene.
