I grew up in a Christian home, but in recent years, my love for the Lord and passion for cross-cultural ministry has grown deeply. After working as a Registered Dental Hygienist for two years, I felt God calling me to leave my profession and prepare for missions. Since enrolling at Vanguard Bible College, I’ve sought opportunities to grow in ministry and leadership—serving with NNNetwork through ESL tutoring and discipleship of Syrian refugees, and helping lead small groups and events for young adults at my local church. I’ve also participated in short-term missions to the Northwest Territories, Ethiopia, and Los Angeles. Through this overseas internship, I hope to continue developing my calling and grow in Christ-like character and confidence to minister in an Asian context.
