Most Latin American countries have had the gospel preached to their people for decades. However, a present need exists to focus on discipleship, leadership development, and the training of Latin American missionaries to minister around the world, especially to least reached people groups.
Sadly, many in Latin America face significant economic and social challenges. Through mainly ChildCARE Plus, our global workers and national partners serve hundreds of children and their families by helping to provide for basic life needs like food, water, and education. They also assist with skills and career training for many.
Our role is to walk alongside 40 of our global workers, serving in 14 countries, to support them in their various ministries. I (Mark) serve as the regional director. I provide care and covering for our global workers while encouraging their growth and expansion in their fields of calling.
We both count it an honour to serve in this region, to connect with national partners, to help fulfill Mission Global’s vision to reach, plant, equip, and care.
We got married in 1979, and I (Mark) graduated from Master’s College & Seminary in 1980. We immediately began pastoring and have been in full-time ministry ever since. We have had the pleasure of serving four amazing churches in Petrolia, Huntsville, Barrie, and Windsor. I (Mark) then became the regional director for Mission Global in 2018. We have three children and are proud grandparents to seven grandchildren.
