Cindy and I will focus on South Asia, particularly Bangladesh, India and Nepal, as well as the African nations of Kenya and Zimbabwe. Using our 45 years of ministry experience, we will pour into the next generation of leaders, multiplying our effectiveness through the young men and women that we mentor. The South Asian nations are home to the greatest number of unreached people groups in the world, and Zimbabwe and Kenya represent churches with human resources ready and able to take the gospel to the ends of the earth.
In each nation we will work alongside local partners with whom we have a long relational history. Churches that PAOC Mission Global has served alongside for many years. We will teach in their formal bible school training institutions and also in the informal leadership development models they have established.
After 5 years of pastoral ministry in Canada, Cindy and I spent 20 years serving in Southern Africa, primarily in Zimbabwe and Zambia. We pastored and pioneered city churches, taught students in Bible College and engaged meeting the needs of the marginalized and vulnerable. We were instrumental in the establishment of the Village of Hope ministry to children, particularly in Zambia and Zimbabwe. For the last 20 years I have served as the Executive Director of Mission Global while Cindy has engaged in member and partner care, as well as serving at Portico Church.
