Purpose 

Delhi International Christian Fellowship (DICF) is seeking a senior pastor to lead a warm, multicultural church family at one of the world’s global crossroads. This English-speaking congregation brings together believers and seekers from many nations who long for community, spiritual growth, and a clear witness to the hope of Christ. In a city as diverse as New Delhi, this role offers the privilege of shaping a church whose impact reaches far beyond India. 

The pastor will help DICF fulfil its calling to help strangers become friends, introduce seekers to Jesus, and equip God’s people for influence wherever they go. Building on a strong foundation, the senior pastor will offer spiritual direction, biblical teaching, and relational shepherding that reflect Christ’s grace. This leader will foster a welcoming community where the gospel is proclaimed, disciples grow, and people from many nations find a spiritual home. 

Skills 

The ideal candidate will embody the heart of a gracious shepherd—caring deeply for people, listening well, and nurturing belonging among those from many cultures and backgrounds. They should be comfortable leading a congregation marked by frequent transitions, cross-cultural relationships, and a wide range of spiritual needs. A strong pastoral presence, rooted in prayer and Scripture, will be vital for fostering unity and spiritual health. 

This pastor will also be an engaging learner and teacher, approaching ministry with humility, curiosity, and a commitment to communicating God’s Word clearly. With a congregation representing many nations, the ability to teach in ways that resonate cross-culturally is essential. The right leader will combine vision with adaptability, helping DICF steward its international makeup for Kingdom influence while navigating ministry realities in India. Through faithful leadership and genuine care, this pastor will help DICF thrive as a Christ-centred, globally impactful community.
