Community Outreach Director
Equippers Church Budapest is a growing, Spirit-filled international church in one of Europe’s most vibrant cities. A native English-speaking couple is needed to lead outreach and build community among university students and expats through events, discipleship, and creative ministries. Skills in teaching, worship, sports, or social media are an asset but not required. Supported by Pastor Miro Toth and the ECB team, workers receive guidance in language learning, cultural adaptation, and ministry development.
Purpose
Equippers Church Budapest (ECB) is a growing, Spirit-filled International (ie; English-speaking) church plant in the heart of one of the most beautiful and diverse cities of Europe
ECB is looking for a native English-speaking couple to lead outreach to & build community among the city’s large university and expat populations as part of a dynamic team led by the Senior Pastor.
Skills
A diversity of skills would be helpful (but are not necessarily required), including:
- teaching skills: planning & leading English clubs
- outreach skills: planning & leading events to reach & serve the campus & expat communities
- pastoral skills: planning & leading the discipleship & equipping of young adults (primarily) for service
- athletic skills: leading and/or coaching of sports
- musical skills: being part of and/or leading worship teams
- social media skills: helping to establish & grow ECB’s online/social media presence
Support
Pastor Miro Toth & the ECB lead team will be your primary support network, assisting you in language acquisition and cultural immersion as you adapt to a new city, country, continent & church culture. Miro is an experienced church planter and part of the worldwide Equippers Church International network.
He is also on the national leadership of the Apostolic (Pentecostal) Church of Slovakia and is President of Gateway College in Nitra, Slovakia.
Our Mission Global team will walk with you along the way – from application to deployment. Training, administrative support and mission coaching will be provided, along with assistance for promotional and fundraising efforts.
