Discipleship Team Leader
A discipleship team leader is needed in West Africa to mentor and equip believers from Muslim backgrounds, fostering spiritual growth and cultural understanding. This person or couple will build deep relationships, lead communal study and worship, and train emerging leaders to share their faith within their own communities. Strong theological grounding, cultural sensitivity, and proficiency in French are essential, with a willingness to learn a local language highly valued. Patience, adaptability, and resilience are key to thriving in this dynamic ministry environment.
Purpose
There is a need for a discipleship team leader in West Africa to work with believers from an Islamic background. The aim would be to foster a supportive and nurturing environment for spiritual growth and transformation. By providing personalized mentoring, this person or couple would seek to guide individuals on their faith journey, helping them to understand and embrace Christian teachings within a culturally sensitive framework. This role involves building deep, trusting relationships, encouraging communal worship and study, and equipping new believers with the tools and knowledge needed to live out their faith authentically. The ultimate goal is to cultivate a resilient and growing community of believers who can, in turn, share their newfound faith with others, thus creating a ripple effect of spiritual renewal throughout the region.
