Graphic Artist
Villages of Hope Africa is seeking creative individuals skilled in digital art programs like Procreate to mentor youth and young adults. This role involves teaching digital art techniques, typography, and various art styles that can also serve as income-generating skills. Applicants should have experience with iPad or tablet-based art, understand layering, formats, and file sizes, and bring a patient, caring approach to teaching.
Purpose
Villages of Hope Africa is looking for individuals who are passionate and skilled in using digital art programs like Procreate to help youth/young adults develop their skills in the following areas: digital art techniques, typography, different types of digital art styles, which can be sold as a form of income.
Skills
Experience using art programs such as procreate on iPad's/Tablets is required. A passion to teach local individuals in a patient and caring manner is required. An understanding of the different digital art techniques, formats, colour formats, layering and appropriate file sizes.
Support
Our Mission Global team will walk with you along the way – from application to deployment. Training, administrative support and mission coaching will be provided, along with assistance for promotional and fundraising efforts. This position will be for a short-term deployment and training for Global Volunteers will be provided.
